Quick and simple panini melts
We are a very busy family so dinner not only has to taste great, it has to be easy to prepare. The last thing I need is a tantrum because one of the kids are hungry. I take them right out of the freezer and it cooks in a matter of minutes. I’m able to serve dinner in a hurry and everyone is happy.
Once you get the hang of making these burgers, you can customize your toppings to your own family’s preference.
Topping suggestions included:
- Extra jalapenos
- Onion rings
All of the ideas above taste great in combination with MorningStar Farms® Tex-Mex Burgers. If you’re looking for less spice, try one of their other varieties. There are several to choose from. Feel free to create your own.
How to make a panini without a press
Don’t worry if you do not have an official panini press. I created this cheeseburger panini recipe by using a cast-iron grill pan.
It’s one pan cooking at its best.
After grilling your burgers, and while your pan still hot, the ciabatta bread goes directly in the same pan. This will create the signature toastiness that the panini is known for. There’s no need for any messy clean-ups.
There’s virtually no prep
This quick cooking dinner calls for almost no prep. With the exception of slicing the ciabatta bread, everything else is part of an “as-is” dinner solution. Don’t worry if you had a hectic day. Preparing these burgers is practically stress-free.
This melty cheeseburger panini is so simple to make.
Where to find MorningStar Farms products

Additionally, I made this trip even easier by pre-purchasing my ingredients using Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup.
Walmart Online Grocery Pickup simplifies my day. I’ll order online, arrange the pickup time, and my groceries are ready to be picked up when I need them. Give it a try the next time you need groceries.
Now that you have the details of this recipe, it’s time to begin. I hope your family will enjoy this easy-to-make dinner.
